This is really awesome! I love it. What great work. I am loving working with the 28 weight thread for our stitcheries this year. Nice to know I can put it in my machine needle okay, too! 🙂
It is best to use a #90 Topstitch Needle, and I use 50 wt. of the same color in the bobbin. It is so fun to work with the heavier weight!

Your quilt is beautifil and so free. I love the colors you chose and Congratulations on your ribbon! I haven’t had the chance to use the 28wt threads but have some on order. Can’t wait.
Thank you, you will Love the heavier wt. , You can get all the same beautiful colors in every weight that Aurifil makes. I do use 50 wt. , (of the same color), in the bobbin , this helps to keep the work smooth and eliminate bulk were you are working. I also use a #90 top stitch needle.
