  1. I love the blue! Most of my Christmas decor are bright colors not the traditional reds and greens. Love the way the blue sets off crystal and snowy items.

  2. My new favorite color for Christmas is the aqua color. It goes so well with the red and green and is kind of whimsical.

  3. I like the darker apple green to inspire me to make Christmas items, especially from Linda’s book! I just love the bright looks to her projects, it is just so fresh. Thanks for the giveaway and would love to have Linda’s book and the threads too. I can’t get Aurifil here in town!

  4. The red. green and white always reminds me of Christmas and there are soooooooooooo many things that I could think of to do with these colors.

  5. Actually, I have a lot on “Non-traditional” Christmas fabric, so all of these threads excite me, but when it comes down to it, the bright red is the greatest, so deep and rich! Would love to own this thread collection. I have a quilt top done, that these would quilt beautifully!

  6. I love the magenta/lime/turquoise holiday colors! This contemporary look is the only thing that inspires me to make holiday projects — thanks!

  7. The bright red inspires me most for Christmas sewing – Red = Christmas to me. Thanks for the peek inside the book and the fabulous giveaway!!

  8. I think red is the most “Christmas inspiring” color for me, followed by green. Thank you for the opportunity of entering in the giveaway, the book looks inspiring and the Aurifil colors are wonderful.

  9. Look forward to using Aurifil thread everytime I pull out my needles. Thanks for a great product.

  10. I’m inspired by the green thread… green is so versatile. And you always need a good green for Christmas projects. Thanks for the giveaway!

  11. The Matryoshka Love Ornament makes me think about Christmas sewing. The ornament would be for those ” very special” people on my list..

  12. I love the red, olive green, bright gold and cream. So glad someone decided to make Xmas so colorful and bright! Just loved the matryoshka!

  13. Oh, I love the turquoise, hot pink and bright green colors-quite retro. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway. The book has been on my “wish list” ever since I heard it was coming out.

  14. The green thread inspires me the most for Christmas sewing. The more I see of Linda’s book the more I know it is one to definitely own.

  15. The red from the to[p row and the green from the second row are my inspiration for Christmas!

  16. What a cute book! It seems funny, but the color that inspires me for Christmas is the dark pink on the bottom row. Thank you for the great giveaway.

  17. I love the blue in the bottom row–so many designers are using the blue in their collections this year and it looks great with red and grey.

  18. Green is my go to Christmas color. Our Christmas home decorating always includes green. For 2012 the colors have to be bright. The yummy apple green in the second row is among my all time favorite colors. Definitely fresh bright Christmas inspiration…I like the other bright colors and the use of the black and white polka dots for contrast. Aurifil color sets inspire, not only my sewing, but much of my crafting. Embroidery and bead combinations.

  19. HELLO! LOVE THE RED! AND NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS,BUT OTHER PROJECTS TOO!
    THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

  20. Oh I would love the book and thread. I love the green(pine tree) and brown (pine cones). Thank you.

  21. The green on the far left of the middle row. A less traditional green for Christmas which I love.

  22. The Green and Red inspire me most for Christmas because most of my decorations are very traditional, however, this year I have been working on Christmas decorations for my “blue and white” room and bathroom which I am decorating with snowflakes and snowmen so the white and blue threads would be great for this year.

(By the way – love to piece with your thread, and am starting to use a bit of it for machine quilting now too.)

  23. It has to be the white as it makes me think of snowflakes and snowmen. Thank you for the great giveaway.

  24. The Brown and Cream to sew the sew sweet stocking with for my main living room area as that is the color I use on my tree. What a great give-away someone is certainly going to be Lucky, and I hope it’s Me.

  25. Merry Christmas in July! I am atraditionalist, I like red and green and sometimes a little black and white too.

  26. Thanks and hope to win this great giveaway! My favorite combinations for Christmas are red, white, turquoise and yellow.

  27. The turqoise and red next to it as I love the nontraditional! They also have that retro vibe to them that my sister so loves. Thanx for the opportunity

  28. The turquoise is my favorite! Gives an nice icy, cool feeling for those holiday projects!

  29. Believe it or not the turqouise (sp) !! I love the new Christmas lines with a fresh new color scheme. Nothing is wrong with red and green of course but I do LOVE the new choices we’ve had the last few years 🙂

  30. That salmon/orange color second from the left on top….reminds me of fall that’s just around the corner and the bright nearly see through leaves that will be burning right!

  31. Thanks for the giveaway. I would love to use the turquoise, hot pink and brown for Christmas – and I’d love to win since I don’t yet have Linda’s book, nor any Aurifil thread 🙂

  32. Definitely the red and gold; with some black and white thrown in for contrast. Beautiful colors!

  33. The red top row first spool most inspires me, followed with the green second row right below the red spool

  34. the bright blue lower right inspires me…I’m working on a quilt with a view right now and this color is the shade of the sky fabrics I’m using..the house in the quilt will be orange with a pink heart so those colors grab me too…then there’s the green of the trees and the leave for the flower blocks…well, let’s face it…the entire box inspires me…I’m a rainbow-maniac!

  35. The red in the top row and the green right below it along with the bright gold in the second row really inspire me. I wish I could grab them right now and get started creating. I have several ideas percolating that those colors would be perfect for!

  36. The red from the top row, but also the pinks and the turquoise are interesting new colours for Christmas.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  37. The 2 pinks on the bottom right and the turquios, love those colors. Thanks for the great giveaway, Aurifil has some awesome thread colors!!

  38. White. It just feels like something in the wind, something grand, something wonderful to come. Starshine.

  39. The red would inspire me for Christmas. I love a good Christmas red. But the blue would inspire me every other day. 🙂

  40. Red, Green Gold & White are colours that make it Christmassy for me, although some fabric ranges are including blues these days which is very interesting……..and inspiring for future quilting adventures

  41. All of the colors are beautiful, but I think that the green makes me want to sew for Christmas. It’s such a pretty and fresh color, very nice.

  42. Oh – I can’t narrow it down to just ONE…. I love the cranberry, lime and turquoise ones the bestest ;0)

  43. I can picture a Winter scene that has penguins adorned with scarves & stocking caps, and playing merrily on ice and mounds of snow. In the background are snow capped trees & little wildlife critters….and all this from admiring Linda’s AuriFil thread picks!!

  44. I really love that aqua color the most although it’s not very traditional for Christmas.

  45. I adore all of the colors, but especially the aqua; it is vibrant, my daughters favorite color and the color of my sewing room a.k.a. My happy place where time stands still and creativity flows.

  46. I love the aqua for many reasons – it’s vibrant, not your typical Christmas color, it’s my daughter’s favorite color, and it is the color of my sewing studio, a.k.a. My happy place where time stands still and creativity flows! Happy and Merry Sewing!

  47. I think the aqua inspired me the most for Christmas since I have some vintage aqua ornaments. Plus it’s a fun non-traditional Christmas color. Thanks for the giveaway!

  48. My favourite colour is the first one top row–red says Christmas! Strangely enough just at a baseball game in Everett Washington and the theme was Christmas in July.

  49. I love the red the most. It makes me think of Christmas projects.

  50. This book is wonderful and the threads are such pretty colors!! I think I would go with the blue as I just bought some pretty snowmen fabric and I think it would look great with quilted snowflakes. Thanks for the chance to win.

  51. The bright pink ~ bottom row, 3rd from the left ~ caught my eye. Not a real Christmas color but love it!
Thanks for the giveaway and a chance to win the book AND thread!

  52. I’m inspired by the red and green…especially when I see them together. Would love to win the book and the thread. Thanks for this giveaway.

  53. I guess Im pretty traditional with Christmas colors. I really like how red and green go together
Thanks for the wonderful give a way

  54. I’m usually a fall color palette kind of gal but that dark pink on the bottom is calling my name!

  55. The bright green, pink with accents of the brown would be a nice change from traditional red and green

  56. I love the aqua color for Christmas. I have some holiday fabrics containing aqua and hope to have “out of the color box” Christmas decorations this year.

  57. The red on the top left inspires me most for Christmas sewing. Thanks for the chance to win Linda’s book AND your awesome thread.

  58. The white inspires me to do Christmas projects. First, it’s a very clean white. You can make beautiful snowflakes or frosty trim with that white. You can make glistening stars and Santa Clause’s beard. You can make blue and white menorahs with this white!! When I think of bright I think of clean, classy and bright white!

  59. Great giveaway! The green thread would certainly come in handy for the fabric Chritmas cards that I am working on! Thanks for the chance to win!!

  62. Oooooh, the bright limey green is gorgeous! I love that one, but WANT the whole collection of Aurifil threads and Linda’s book, of course. Thanks for a great giveaway! 🙂

  63. I like the aquay blue the best. As I love blues and would love to make some Christmas accessories in aqua & red! Thanks for a chance to win! 🙂

  64. I’m loving the aqua, I’ve started collecting lots of Christmas items in that color, especially snowmen. I would love to win Linda’s book, I’ve seen so many cute things reviewed, and of course, they can only be sewn up with my favorite thread – Aurifil!! Thanks bunches!!

  65. I love the dark red and the apple green – they both inspire me to stitch some rich colored holiday items. I appreciate the opportunity to enter the contest!

  66. I’m still a traditional RED kinda Christmas gal….but love mixing it up with some fun new colors. Thanks for the contest.

  67. The colours of Christmas for me will always be as simple as red and green – from the darkest blood red to the brightest of grass greens! And all in Aurifil threads of course – “when only the best will do:! Linda is such a talented artist I’d love to win a copy of her book!

  68. The beautiful colors make me want to stop watching the Olympics on TV and sew, sew, sew!!!

  69. My skin is kind of sort of brownish
    Pinkish yellowish white.
My eyes are greyish blueish green,
But I’m told they look orange in the night.
My hair is reddish blondish brown,
But it’s silver when it’s wet.
And all the colors I am inside
    Have not been invented yet.

*This is what the colors brought to my mind! Kelly

  70. thanks for this nice giveaway! I hope I win. 🙂 For some reason, the turquoise inspires me the most, even for Christmas. I have been loving the red, pink, light green, and turquoise combo for Christmas for a few years now!

  71. The deep red or the “snow” white would be perfect for a Christmas quilt. I use a lot of wow background fabrics with bright colors as well in my quilts. Loved the stocking pattern!

  72. Such unique, fresh ideas for Christmas decor…great fun, much inspiration! And the thread? Yum!

  73. I love all the colors in the collections but my favorite has to be the dark rose in the bottom row.
Thanks for the opportunity to win Linda’s new book and the thread collection! I love Linda’s designs and Aurifil threads!

  74. The red one would be great for some embroidery work on cuffs for stockings going t o troops.

  75. the green on the left of the middle row… love Aurifil thread and use it exclusively on my machine for quilting and sewing.

  76. Linda’s one of my faves!! i use aurifil all the time and i love it too!!the results are fabulous!hope i win this wonderful prize!!

  77. The blue is nice to go with some of Linda’s projects. The yellow is nice when you want to embroider/sew stars.

  79. I LIKE THEM ALL, BUT THE TOP RIGHT IS FANTASTIC!!!!! I HAVE JUST THE RIGHT QUILT TOP TO USE THAT FOR QUILTING!!!

  80. The beautiful Aqua and Coral-ish pink-ish color in the bottom right corner are the ones that make my mind race with ideas right now… I am redecorating my kitchen, and think those two cord will be great for retro style holiday sewing. Can’t wait to get to work on some fun stuff I have planned!

  81. Wonderful choices and all are inspiring colours for the Christmas season, but I would choose the bright golden/yellow as a bright and cheerful colour to brighten what can be dull winter days. I am a fairly new quilter and have not had the opportunity to use these threads yet, maybe one day! I have not seen them in any area shops in southern Ontario come to think of it. 🙁

  82. I have a little bit of that aqua-y blue mixed in the traditional red/green/gold in my Christmas decor. The golden yellow is also a beautiful thread color.

  83. I like the lime green. I have been drawn to this as a Christmas color the past several years.
Will these colors be sold as a combo package?

  84. The first one….red…inspires me! I love red. Maybe that’s why I like Christmas so much. There is always lots of red at Christmas & that makes me happy. Thanks for the chance to win.
