You can almost taste the sweet watermelon and strawberries in the June block.

My favorite seasonal colors are shades of green. It’s the only color that transcends all seasons. I love the forest greens for winter, and sages for fall, the yellow greens for spring, and the limes and brights for summer. (Can you tell green is my favorite color?). i love all the seasonal colours…love the beige, brown, grey of early spring before the world turns green…love the first few saturated greens of the new leaves…love the lush over growth of early summer with bits of brillant colour thrown in, love the hazy, washed out colours of the summer, the golds and reds of fall are wonderfully warm, and then winter with a multitude of whites, blue whites, grey whites, warm sun washed whites…ah so many colour palettes
It would be so hard to choose just one or two colors. I love spring for the “new” green colors and the brights of summer. Fall is just one of the best times of the year when we are all surprised by the changing colors of the trees. The kid in me loves Christmas colors for the excitement it all brings. I would LOVE any of the colors of Mrs. Sitar’s.

I am definetly a spring color person, I love the color of fresh growth on the shrubs, that tender green, yellow of daffodils, the blush pink of geraniums, hot pink of azaleas, oh and the purple/blue of agapanthas that are in full bloom right now. Oh how I love spring/summer!

I love the fall colors. The oranges, yellows, reds, browns and a hint of green. They make me feel warm inside and even though I know the cold winter is on the way a quilt made from fall colors is a way to use that warm feeling to keep me from the winter cold.

Navy blue is my favorite color, closely followed by pink, grey and limey green. I would have to say that Fall is my favorite season for the beautiful spectrum of colors it represents.

I would be hard pressed to find a favorite out of that collection, they are all gorgeous. It is so much fun to have a variety of bright colors to work with in any project and they fit the bill. I can’t say I have a real favourite colour, I love them all, my daughter collects anything with figure skates, she even has a Christmas tree that is totally decorated with skating things and of course Mom being a quilter has to make her anything with skates on it that she finds. I really like all colors However my favorite in quilts are the muted colors of autumn with a POP of red and a bit of orange to go with the brown, gold, and greens.
Blues and aquas are my favorites!

I love the spring greens with cream, pale yellow, pinks – all the colours of apple trees in bloom.
My fav colors are the yellow, orange, gold and red of Autumn. One can do so much with those colors.

I love the greens and blues of spring that remind me so much of wild lupines.
My favorite seasonal colors are shades of green. It’s the only color that transcends all seasons. I love the forest greens for winter, and sages for fall, the yellow greens for spring, and the limes and brights for summer. (Can you tell green is my favorite color?). Being an autumn child, I really loved the warm gold and orange colours. However, a close runner up is a bright spring green 🙂
I would so love to try out some of the blocks in your book, and challenge myself with a new technique, as I have not yet sewn raw edge applique. And those are wonderful thread colours!!

I’m a brights person. Happiness is a rainbw of color.
I have recently fallen in love with spring green, turqoisey blue and deep red, almost a burgundy. My new bedroom colors! I am planning a quilt with some embroidered and appliqued throw pillows and wall hangings to go with it.

I love all the shades of blue: to me, they cover summer with clear streams, beautiful flowers and in winter, the ice, cold and snow. All colors are beautiful, but blue does take the cake!!

The greens and blues are so cheerful–all the colors are wonderful.
I like sunny yellow colors because they represent intelligence and cheerfulness. I like purple because it is representative of self-esteem. I like turquoise because it symbolizes prosperity. I like orange because reflects energy. Pink helps to bring calm and blue is relaxing. Green symbolizes rejuvenation or the start of a new day. Bringing lots of colors together is joyful, isn’t it or wearing the color you choose for the day can be a reminder of what you are feeling that day. The same with choosing your colors for a quilt or wallhanging. Every time you look at that quilt/wallhanging, it can bring colorful memories. As you can see, I like lots of colors!

Looking at my garden now, I see reds, pinks, oranges, peach, and many shades of green with white from my gardenia bush. I feel renewed this time of year, so these are my favorite seasonal colors.

I love and use all colors. There is something special about each season: Spring – pastels, Summer – true rich colors, Autumn – rich darker shades, Winter – gray shades of the color wheel. So all year long you get to play with all the colors.
