Aurifil Artisan Monthly Showcase! This month we challenged our Artisans to create a project using cross-stitch or embroidery. As always we are blown away by their gorgeous creations and talent!
Sarah Goer of Sarah Goer Quilts and her 7-year-old daughter stitched this 4″ embroidery hoop of Hanauma Bay (pattern by Rosanna Diggs). It features a variety of different embroidery stitches. You can view pictures from Sarah’s trip to Hanauma Bay on her blog along with further details about her project.
Tania of Ginger Quilts created an itty bitty bowl of nimono… recreating a mini quilt design in cross stitch.
Kathy Ross created this lovely embroidered vixen and cub portrait, using 50wt thread esp no 4150 and monofilament.
Lucy Brennan of Charm About You stitched her project on a vintage cloth using Aurifil 12wt thread.
Jennie Pickett of Clover & Violet created a monogram embroidery on Cork Fabric with Aurifil 12wt and Aurifloss
Amista Baker of Hilltop Custom Designs created an awesome Embroidered Retreat Bag (her own pattern) with Aurifil 12 wt.
Blair Stocker of Wise Craft Quilts stitched a beautiful rose using Counted Cross Stitch on Waste Canvas using Aurifloss
Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill of Whole Cricle Studio created this awesome cross stitch inspired by her Sew Speedy pattern and new Sew Speedy magnetic pin & needle minder. She designed and made a Sew Speedy cross stitch wall hanging to take on Aurifilosophy presentations and to hang in her studio.
Eliane Bergmann of Patchwork and Poodles created an awesome pair of hand-embroidered converse shoes
