  1. I use the almost white a lot. It blends very well with light fabrics. My second choice is the darker gray for medium to dark fabrics. I love Aurifil threads!

  2. I love these threads, and would mostly use the taupe. By “mostly” I mean, first. It blends with the off-whites in the stoney quilts I’ve been working on, and with the colors in the Civil War reproduction quilts I have on line. But the black and white would be great for the red, white and black queen size quilt I’ve started cutting also. Oh, there’s no such thing as a bad color when it comes to Aurifil, which is so nice to piece with.

  3. Aurifil are beautiful threads, My Bernina loves them also. I mostly use the creams for light colored work but love the greys for the darker fabrics. Just finished a black & white QS quilt and used both the almost white and a darker grey it worked extremely well.

  4. I would use the beige forever. I recently purchased a Pffaf Quilt expresssion 4.0. My store seller suggested strongly that I use the thread she recommended. The problem with that I’ve never heard of this thread and want to use threads that Professional Quilters use and recommend. I also want to make quilts of quality and therefore I need a quality thread. Aurafil thread seller is some distance from my home as I have to use public transport to get to my local store I am thinking of buying thread over the phone. So that brings me back to a problem I’ve never tried Aurafil and would too, so winning a spool of beige thread would give me an opportunity to audition Aurafil forever! If it’s as good as people say then I won’t be buying anything else. I’d love to win a spool for Christmas.

  5. Edytar sitar uses it and shes my latest hero, gotta do what she does so that includes the aurafil threads. I just love her work..

  6. I ‘like’ your FaceBook page quite some time ago. I love getting the updates in my newsfeed. It’s great seeing the new threads!

  7. I used the Dark Greyone the most. I am making some butterfly’s on a Embroidery course. I chose black, grey, white, and red

  8. I just started quilting, so therefor I am in the market for threads. The only thing I have to go on as far as thread purchases is by recommendation or by chance. I would rather use a thread that I have found is one of the most recommended threads to use. Which of course at this point is Aurifil. I would use the blues, grays and silvers the most I would think.
