“Sis Boom by Jennifer Paganelli is the inspiration distilled from several lives: Jennifer’s youth in the Great Lakes region of the US, her adolescence spent in the vibrant Caribbean, her college years in traditional New England, followed by career-building in the clamor of New York City. Today, she and her company are located in the leafy rolling countryside of the Northeast. The Sis Boom collection includes over 200 fabric designs, two Chronicle published crafting books, a range of home decor products, PDF sewing patterns, an online shop and a fun-filled blog!”
“The Sis Boom Collection, its name adopted from her childhood nickname given to her by her twin brother, defies easy categorization. With unusual artistry and a love of texture and a blend of vivid colors, Jennifer uses tag sales, flea markets and European sources as a starting point to create her art.
Jennifer’s connection to all things vintage forms the basis of her textile work. She clearly identifies with their strong, saturated and lively color and seeks to incorporate these elements into her various fabric lines for Free Spirit.”
So here is your chance to WIN a Jennifer Paganelli Sis Boom “Fancy Threads” Aurifil 40wt collection of your very own filled with Jennifer’s personal favorites!

I’ve only used the 50 wt for machine piecing and quilting. I love the colors in this collection.
I recently purchased some Aurifil 40wt as it said it was strong and would accentuate my quilting. I should have gotten more colors, but I chose peacock & rust. Suddenly all my projects are lighter, but I’m dying to try it & looking for my next colors to try so I can stock up.

I haven’t tried Aurifil before but I would love too!
40 seems very versatile and easy to use for my most common sewing. Thanks!
Such a gorgeous collection of thread! I have not had the luxury of trying the 40wt yet but I have a lot of the 50wt and love them dearly. Aurifil thread makes piecing a dream! Thank you for such a wonderful giveaway!
I like using the 50 weight.
I’ve never used it (gasp!) so I wouldn’t know. Would love to try it!
Love 50 at but I want to get my hands on some 12!!!!

I have always wanted to try this thread but have not gotten any of it yet. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I <3 Aurifil!
I don’t really have a favorite!
I like the green spools. I have a very high speed machine and they hold up really well een when going super fast. Another reason I like them is that once I use up all the thread they make great ‘trunks’ for christmas trees!
I’ve never tried Aurifil, so I don’t have a favorite… yet!
I love the Aurifil threads….I’ve only tried the 50 weight for piecing (love it) and the 12 weight for hand embroidery/embellishments. Thanks for the chance of a win!
I haven’t had the opportunity to try Aurifil yet!

I love Aurifil threads and this collection is lovely1
I am feeling such an amateur now! I only use thread that I buy at the supermarket when doing any kind of sewing, quilts or otherwise. (The only other thread I have are 70 year old silks from my mother in law. which I am afraid to use : )
I have never tried Aurifil thread. The collection looks great and I would love to try. Thanks for the chance to win. (debbie at wowilikethat dot com)
Have not tried Aurifil yet, but planning to do so soon.
I love Aurifil 50wt thread for patchwork & quilting, it is now the only thread I use because it really does live up to the hype – strong, flat blocks with very little lint. I’m yet to try 40wt but have heard good things about it as a quilting thread & I’d love to give it a go. Thanks for the great giveaway.
Iuse both 40 and 50 and love them both. I would love to try the embroidery weight.

I’ve always used 50 but probably because I don’t know a whole lot about thread weights.

I have never tried Aurifil as it’s not that easy to find in Australia… but bloggers rave about it so I would love to try it.
Honestly, I’m not sure what my favorite thread weight is. I’m too much of a novice to know whether 40 wt is better for hand quilting or is 50 wt? 🙂 I am a thread lover though! I think it is just as beautiful as the fabric!
I simply love Aurifil thread. I like 50 wt. or 40 wt. I love how bobbins with Aurifil thread never leave you empty in the middle of a project!
